Four Directions offers a curated selection of rocks, minerals, fossils, and jewelry from all over the world. Visit us in the Main St district in Ann Arbor, Michigan at 211 S Main St (the block between Liberty and Washington).
Four Directions has been retailing unique finds on Main Street for almost 3 decades. Geoscape Rock Shop purchased the business in 2021. Our family-owned rock shop has been operating for over 10 years in Southwest Michigan.
Our store is wheelchair accessible, family-friendly, and pet friendly. Street parking is available in front of the store, or park in one of the many nearby parking garages.

New Owners
Four Directions changed ownership in April 2021, and is now Four Directions by Geoscape Rock Shop!
Alan and Karen Freedman started Four Directions over 20 years ago and approached us about purchasing the business so they could retire. We are excited to expand upon one of our favorite shops to include even more rocks, minerals, fossils, jewelry, artwork, and more!
Eric and Ann Larcinese started Geoscape Rock Shop 10 years ago, initially only selling at mineral shows and local fairs and festivals. Geoscape opened their first brick-and-mortar store in Paw Paw, Michigan in May of 2015.
Their daughter, Hanna, graduated from the University of Michigan in 2015 and is happy to be back in Ann Arbor helping with the family business.
